Our sincerest apologies for the week-long delay in posts.. midterms are hell
Exciting news for fashion designers and visual artists alike. FAT (Toronto Alternative Arts and Fashion Week) is back for another year, set to take place in April 2011. This show is always spectacular and far more diverse than LG Fashion Week. Even better, it features designers and models from the ground-up, the talented and goodlooking people roaming the streets of our very own Toronto.
So without further ado, FAT is currently accepting proposals in:
Fashion Design, Installation, Music, Performance, Photography, and Video
Toronto Alternative Arts and Fashion Week is a platform and outlet for the inventive and avant-garde in modern creative expression. This is no festival for the traditional, nor the weak at heart. What you see at this festival is daring, controversial, and a look into the mind of the creative genius.
It is an annual multi-arts event featuring 200 national and international fashion designers, visual artists, bands, and performers each year. It consists of runway shows, live performances, music, photography exhibits, video screenings and installation exhibits to celebrate creative minds in all art forms. In other words, it's exactly what we do here at The Studio, and we'd love to get our members involved.
