SMC @ UofT is in for a treat. November 2010 sees Steven Spielberg's new series, Falling Skies, coming to film in Toronto. Not just in Toronto, but on our own campus. Rumor has it that an upper room of Brennan Hall, located a minute or so from Bay & St. Joseph, will be used to shoot a scene in the series. Construction is currently going on and we're all wondering what they're planning on doing to it. Another rumor today says that they're painting the room in its entirety red, and will have to paint it back as soon as filming has wrapped up.Hey, I guess it's not every day Steven Spielberg comes knocking on your door.
Keep an eye out for the cast and crew! This should be exciting. Wish he was directing and not just executive producer, but whatever. Anyway, I got my hands on the full film schedule in Toronto November 2010 so check it out!
